REHEATING RULES

FIRST THINGS FIRST. DON’T YOU DARE USE A MICROWAVE.


Microwaving can make that thick and crispy crust super soggy and overly chewy. Do yourself a favour, and follow the steps below.

STOVE-TOP SKILLET (BEST RESULTS)


  1. Lightly coat a pan with olive oil or butter. Don’t use too much, about a teaspoon should do
  2. Preheated pan over medium-low heat. Add your slices
  3. Whitout making contact with the pizza, add a teaspoon of water to the pan and cover immediately with a lid, steaming for 2–3 minutes to melt the cheese while keeping the crust crispy.
  4. Bonus tip – Cast iron pans are the best when it comes to reheating this style of pizza. You’ll retain all the crispy outer layer while retaining the soft interior.

OVEN OR TOASTER OVEN


  1. Preheat to 350°F (or 400°F) and place slices on a lightly greased baking sheet or directly on the rack (using foil) for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Bonus tip – If you have a wire rack to layer over your pan, you’ll get a crispier outer edge.

AIR FRYER


  • Heat at 375°F for about 3 minutes.
